Power One provided coating removal and resurfacing for numerous segments of penstocks (large-diameter piping) connecting reservoirs associated with the Big Creek Hydroelectric Project. Nestled in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, the project had many challenges associated with access, steep gradients, as well as remote locations. This ongoing project is scheduled to be completed at the end of 2025.
