Power One worked as sub contractor to AIS providing all abatement and demolition services for removal of the former Life Storage building in downtown Los Angeles. The sequencing and site constraints required Power One to engineer a temporary bracing system for walls that were in close proximity to high voltage electric lines. Additionally Power One deployed a suspended debris curtain to protect the southbound 101 freeway from demolition related projectiles resulting from mechanical demolition techniques.
